Express Retail Group set to take on Australia’s personal grooming market

Australia’s Salon Express and Barbershop Express brands now reside under the newly formed Express Retail Group (ERG) in a strategic move that strengthens both brands within the Australian market.

Ownership of ERG expands from the Di Lallo family to include ERG’s executive leadership team:

  • David Boyd, Chief Executive Officer

  • Bianca Panozzo, Chief Operations Officer

  • Dean Franks, Franchise Director

ERG’s spokesperson, Bianca Panozzo, said the consolidation of brands under ERG is the next step in expanding both Salon Express and Barbershop Express brands nationally.

“We always strive to provide a welcoming and professional service to our clients. Through streamlining our retail operations under Express Retail Group and expanding at a sensible pace into locations nationally, we will ensure more clients enjoy the Salon Express and Barbershop Express experience.”

“This means all members of the family will be able to choose tailored grooming services in retail stores that reside alongside one another, in locations close to home.”

David Boyd, CEO is excited about the move. “Over the past two years we’ve seen both Salon Express and Barber Express go from strength to strength and the formation of Express Retail Group lays the foundation for our continued growth. This means more jobs across Australia for grooming professionals who are keen to work in an ethical, contemporary enterprise.”

ERG assumes management of both the Salon Express and Barbershop Express brands from 1 April 2018.
